At Parsons School of Design in NYC and at Atlanta College of Art Heather received a major in painting, specializing as a portrait painter. Interest began to switch to still life while earning her Masters of Fine Art from The University of Pennsylvania.
“What I love about still life painting is creating a narrative through the use of objects.” Wine is a dominate subject matter: wine, food, spirits, cigars, and travels are all timeless subject matters that make the work current and nostalgic.
